Compatible with a wide range of Floyd Rose tremolo systems, it offers professional-grade resonance improvements and vintage tonal qualities favored by top guitarists globally. ## Description With the invention of the world’s first locking vibrato system in 1977, Floyd D. Rose completely revolutionised the electric guitar, and with it a whole new generation of players. 40 years later Floyd Rose offers a vast array of replacement vibrato systems, upgrades and spares, and are used and trusted by some of the most influential and famous guitar players on the planet. This Fat brass big block will add mass and sustain to your Floyd Rose bridge along with the tonal qualities of brass. Works with Floyd Rose Original, Non-Fine Tuner, 7-String, 1000 Series, and Special tremolo systems. Width is 50.15 mm and thickness is 12.90 mm. Brass has been a much desired material for guitar luthiers dating back to the invention of the instrument; it is notorious for increasing warmth and clarity simultaneously, a rare combination. While greatly strengthening chord clarity and beefing up individual tones, it also greatly improves resonance, especially in the midrange of the instrument. All of these improvements are accompanied with the undeniably vintage sound and feel of this time-d material. Since this block is larger than a conventional sustain block, it can also limit upward travel of the tremolo and can be set to rest against the body in a blocked bridge configuration. For floating bridge setup this block may require some routing in the spring cavity. The Special 7-String Tremolo Systems have a sustain block mounting hole spacing which is unlike any of our other systems - for this reason, they can only function with their factory installed sustain blocks. These blocks will NOT function on the 1000 Series Pro 7-String! ## Features - Added mass and sustain - Desired tonal qualities of brass - 12.9MM thick - Genuine Floyd rose replacement ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B00979RZIU | | Back Material Type | Brass | | Body Material Type | Brass | | Brand Name | Floyd Rose | | Color | 32 mm | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (488) 4.8 out of 5 stars | | Fretboard Material Type | Maple Wood | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00835580002959 | | Guitar Bridge System | Tremolo | | Guitar Pickup Configuration | S | | Hand Orientation | [NO] | | Instrument | Guitar | | Instrument Size | 32 mm | | Item Dimensions | 5.1 x 3.2 x 1.3 centimeters | | Item Dimensions L X W X H | 5.1L x 3.2W x 1.3H centimeters | | Item Type Name | Electric Guitar Bridge | | Item Weight | 0.35 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Floyd Rose | | Manufacturer Part Number | FROFTB32 | | Material Type | Brass | | Model Number | FROFTB32 | | Neck Material Type | Brass | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number Of Packs | 1 | | Number Of Strings | 6 | | Sound Profile | Warmth and Clarity | | String Material Type | Brass | | String Nut Width | 50.15 Millimeters | | Top Material Type | Brass | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upc | 835580002959 | ## Product Details - **Back material type:** Brass - **Body material:** Brass - **Brand:** Floyd Rose - **Colour:** 32 mm - **Top material type:** Brass ## Images ![Fat Brass Block Electric Guitar Bridge, 32 mm (FROFTB32) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71LnvtzKDsL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by on Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates 27 April 2025* Original ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by on Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates 30 January 2024* Loved this floyd rose sustain block ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great and must have "standartish" block *by on Reviewed in the United States 11 December 2025* I would be amazed if this item wasn't good as usually Floyd Rose is.Ideally balanced weight and dimensions to fit, easy to install (FR is my favourite LEGO).
