**Q: Some comments mentioned these claws melting.  Any comments on this?**
A: As has been mentioned, those comments are old... at the time the Bear Paws were made of Plastic. Now that they are made out of a higher heat-resistant Nylon melting has not been an issue.

**Q: Are these BPA free?**
A: Yes they are. The Nylon they are made of is both BPA Free and FDA Approved.

**Q: dishwasher safe**
A: i put mine in the dishwasher and haven't had any issues

**Q: How many claws are in an order, a pair or just one?**
A: A pair, one claw for each hand
