**Q: How quickly after receiving this do i need to put the pyrodinos in the turtle?  i want it as a christmas gift, but obviously, i don’t want them to die**
A: PyroDinos require daily light, like a houseplant.  You may keep the PyroDinos in the white spout pouch for up to 8 weeks as long as they receive daily light.  You may fill the Bio-Turtle anytime within this 8 week period.  TIP - loosen the cap on the PyroDino spout pouch to allow some air exchange.  Tighten the cap before gifting or shaking the pouch at night.

**Q: how long after you receive and open them will they start to glow?**
A: Sometimes it may take one or two nights before you see bioluminescence as the PyroDinos bounce back from the stress of shipping.  Biolulumincence will only occur during nighttime hours and will not occur during daytime hours, even in a dark room.

**Q: Can I put this in with my fish? (In the container)**
A: You may add PyroDinos (phytoplankton) to almost any saltwater aquarium.  Do not add to a freshwater aquarium.

**Q: Do you need to feed the microalgae?**
A: Short answer - No.  These are phytoplankton and like all microalgae get their energy from sunlight or room lighting (like a plant).  However, like most plants, it is beneficial to add additional nutrients for optimal health.  So adding DinoNutrients (nutrient-enriched seawater) over time is recommended.
