The first thing I noticed is how smooth they are to write with. The ink flows evenly without skipping, which makes them great for longer writing sessions, whether it’s notes, lists, or general use. The grip is soft and comfortable, which really helps reduce hand fatigue if you’re writing for a while. It feels secure in hand and doesn’t slip, which is a big plus compared to cheaper pens. I also like the simple, practical design. The pocket clip is sturdy and actually useful for attaching to notebooks or keeping in a pocket without worrying about it breaking easily. The ink is a solid, deep black and dries fairly quickly, so I’ve had minimal issues with smudging. They’re not fancy pens, but they do exactly what you need them to do — and they do it well. If I had one small criticism, it would be that they’re quite lightweight, which some people might not prefer if they like a heavier pen feel. Overall, these are dependable, comfortable pens that are perfect for everyday use. Great value and definitely worth having on hand for home, school, or work. ## Frequently Bought Together - Zebra Pen Z Grip Smooth Black Ballpoint Pens, Comfortable With Pocket Clip, Retractable Ballpoint, Reliable Black Biro Pens Multipack For Everyday Use - Medium Point, 5pk - Zebra Pen Z-Grip Retractable Ballpoint Pen, Medium Point, 1.0mm, Black Ink, 12-Pack (22210) - Sharpie Permanent Markers, Fine Point, Green, 12 Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/281335431-z-grip-smooth-black-ink-5pk-pack-of-5](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/281335431-z-grip-smooth-black-ink-5pk-pack-of-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
