Review: The price was lower than I could find it at my hardware stores and it’s exactly what I needed - It was a great valve and easy to install.
Review: Schedule 40 is NOT 2" OD - it is much larger so don't buy just any 2" pipe for this valve. - This is a beautifully made 2" Schedule 40 PVC ball valve. It turns reasonably easily and I'm not a strong person. It requires PVC solvent and cement to install, not to mention 2" sched 40 pvc pipe, which I thought I ordered but it turned out to NOT be Schedule 40 pipe .I had to make a rush trip to the nearest hardware store to buy a short piece for this job. And it is possibly the best plumbing job I've ever done and I do quite a bit as we have a pool and I'm the pool boy :)

A: ID

**Q: are these true full port, i.e., does the 3/4 valve have full 3/4 hole in the ball?**
A: The large port allows maximum flow and minimum pressure drop or turbulence.

**Q: Ok for hot water?**
A: I do not know for sure. I "believe" they are designed for cold water only. I would not use them for hot water systems. Also the glue used for connecting these connectors is not rated for hot water.
