A: Not unless you want to spend quite a few bucks for the external wireless mic systems.  If you get the media mod and then add a small mic to that you can get some really good sound and then separate it out in editing.
If you check YouTube there are some great videos that will help you out with different options for the camera.

**Q: Can i use it for gopro8 black**
A: No, this Media Mod can only be used with the HERO9 Black. The dimensions are different from that of the HERO8 Black Media Mod.

**Q: Is the hero9 black max lens mod compatible with the hero9 black camera media mod ?**
A: Yes, the Max Lens Mod can be attached to the HERO9 Black with the camera connected to the Media Mod.

**Q: Is the Hero 9 weatherproof with Media Mod attached during heavy wind and rain?**
A: You have to remove the original latch over the battery to install. It is not water proof. So the answer is no.
