**Q: What is the consistency like?**
A: it's oily but i use it in conjunction with 100% aloe.  I mix about a teaspoon of aloe with two drops of sonoma naturals rose hip seed oil serum for face.  I'm 66 years old.  I do this every evening on my throat area, have been doing for quite some because I started having a goose neck.  I have found that this mixture has made my skin in my throat area more smooth and my goose neck went away.
