Or will it be filtered out? One of my cats will only drink from the fountain.** A: it's good that your cat prefers the fountain, I find that all my cats drink 100% more water since we got a fountain. This is because they are conditioned to not drink from still water; out in the wild, still water can present things that can make them sick. As to the drops, yes, you can add them to the fountain, but I'm not sure how to do that. The dose is three drops or so at a time, if you put it into the fountain the dose will be diluted and probably will have little or no affect on your cat. What I do is get the cat in a relaxed moment (assuming that's possible), and then with the bottle of drops opened and in your hand, kneel down behind him while holding him gently so he can't run away, pet him on the head and chest gently, put your hand under his chin and gently but firmly wedge the bottle in the side of his mouth till he opens it, and then squeeze 2 or 3 drops into his mouth. That's it. One, two three, you're done. This method works very well for my cats, hopefully it will work for yours. **Q: My bottle of Anxiety Relie has no expiration date. How long does it last?** A: I use mine up quickly, so I never think about the expiration date. The formula is an herbal one, so I am reasonably sure it would never go 'bad', only the strength of it (the efficacy) might decline after a long period of time--say a year or two.
