Its not like a glade candle or melting wax that is pungent and gives you a headache. Dont buy it as a scented candle. thats not these candles perk. I use them, primarily for meditation and prayer where you might want to set an atmosphere that is calm and soothing not punch you in the face smelly because you're trying to cover the smell of a rotting corpse under your house.. these candles would be great for emergency lighting because they last about an hour and they are about 25-32 cents each. If you can manage to get them to stand up perfectly and the wick is centered perfectly, they wont drip and last 60 minutes at the 7.3 inch length but they still will drip if not positioned properly and last about 40 minutes. My grandmama used to keep birthday candles in the fridge door** A: Beeswax candles do not go rancid like other candles. I don’t think you need to refrigerate, just store away from heat sources. Keep them wrapped up or in the original packaging to decrease dust on them. I still have beeswax candles from Old Salem (NC) from almost 30 years ago. I purchased these to use as wicks in crisco candles. I love them! **Q: How to burn** A: Burn one by one in a candle holder. **Q: do they need to be stored in a specific way? I bought some but a couple of them are stuck together.** A: The candles do stick together. I make sure they are cooled down if delivered in warm weather. Then separate then in groups of 4, or 5 , or even ten or 20 at a time. If you try to separate them from the large bundle one at a time it is harder. Finally take the smaller groups and pull them apart and place then side by side in layers in a flat container/box. Store in cool dry place. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great candles *by M***Z on August 26, 2026* Candles are very good, don’t smell and burn safely ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I bought more as soon as I used a couple of them. *by J***S on June 12, 2022* These things burn bright and they smell amazing.
