My kids are mixed and I had both both most use the custard with thin, mixed curls or light frizz the custard is much better I think and can harden or bulk up/flake off on hair too thin or not coarse enough for it. **Q: Can i use on 5 month old?** A: I used on my 9 month old. And he was fine.
