**Q: Does this help with lifting and supporting the "apron" of obesity as well**
A: No support with lifting, but good stability and support for the "apron" of obesity.  A plus is with the Velcro it is adjustable and has not "rolled" on me. I hope this helps.

**Q: is a 57 inch waist a xxl**
A: If this helps, my waist is 36" but with my herniated abdomen I'm 46" at the navel. The 2XL fits me perfectly. Right now it may be stretched a little bit, I've worn it literally every day, 8-16 hours for a year but right now it measures 46 inches in length and when worn very tightly it over laps by 14 inches.

**Q: How long is this from top to bottom?**
A: The add accurately states 12 inches.  I am 5'8" tall. The binder hits right at my belt line and extends to the lowest point of my sternum.

**Q: is this a back support belt or a fat burner belt?**
A: it's not a fat burner belt.  I used it after hernia surgery.

Works well if your fat. Tough to get around and make it tight, I see other options where you put it around you first and then pull straps on the sides to make it snug. Would be better to find. 12" is the only plus. Material is garbage. They all are. As a temporary solution it'll do.
