Review: Works beautifully! - While it was a little odd the bottle was shipped all taped up, the actual product smells nice and actually works! It's been 2 weeks since going fire truck red and it has barely faded at all, if any! Last time I was already starting to verge on dark pink at this point. Will be buying again.

**Q: How does this extend color?  It has alcohol in it, isn't that what strips color?  Thanks in advance!**
A: Hi there, it's actually water that strips color.  Moisture can lift the hair cuticles, and when the hair cuticles are lifted, dye molecules can escape, and that's how hair color fades. What you want to avoid is sulfate which can possibly act as an abrasive causing more hair cuticles to be lifted (though there isn't a solid scientific study to back this claim). The alcohol you see in the ingredients of this product is the one with a really long chain. It acts as a foaming surfactant.  Hope this helps!

**Q: How many oz is this? The bottle pictured says 6oz but the shipping weight is only 2.4 oz.**
A: Fluid Ounces and Weight are totally different.  There is 6 FL OZ of product.

**Q: Does this contain sulfate?**
A: No if you look at the ingredients it doesn’t say sulfate.

**Q: Is the alcohol the one with a really long chain and acts as a foaming surfactant as a reviewer suggested?  If true, I thought "foams" are drying...**
A: Does not foam. Very creamy. My hairdresser recommended and I’ve been using for years. Love it!
