I wanted to have an easier way to plug in a monitor, without having to open the little doors and plug it in. I’m constantly having to pick up and go with short notice, so a single plug point is much preferred. Shipping was quick and it came out of the box looking exactly like it said. I keep the monitor plugged into this and it works flawlessly when I plug the micro USB into my computer. For that reason, I’m happy with the purchase. I have experienced an issue with the USB 2.0 plugs on the side though. If I have some sort of external storage device plugged in, it seems to work fine. However, I purchased this for ease of use and wanted to keep my wireless keyboard and mouse plugged into that. This is not an option though, as the key board won’t work and mouse is delayed and jumpy. Overall I feel like this would be handy for multiple monitors, external memory, etc. Since my computer doesn’t have a means of plugging in my monitor, this solved that problem. For my ease of use, this really didn’t solve that.
