They definitely are not heavy. They are so lightweight that I lost one the very first time I wore them. Is this just user error (people confused re 'e-z comfort clasps'), or is the e-z design itself defective?** A: When I got these earrings I was surprised they didn’t have the typical clasps. They’re definitely not defective. It’s just the way they’re manufactured. There’s no spring that applies pressure to the ear which makes them comfortable to wear however, they do have a tendency to fall off the ear. I like wearing them. They are a good size and look nice but I’d estimate that 50 percent of the time one will fall off sometime during the day.
