## Description

Lenny was a happy accident. J Rockett set out to design a recreation of the legendary Dumble Steel String Singer but thought…who needs a loud, clean amp sound in a pedal? The guy that made the Steel String Singer come alive was none other than SRV. With that said, Lenny was born! It was their intention to create a Steel String Singer being pushed to create color, texture and feel versus just loud and clean. Simply put, this is a very musical boost that colors your tone considerably, in an inspiring way…kind of like a Neve console. There is a definite mid character, but boy does it cut through a mix!

Review: Awesome pedal, though not an instant magic SRV tone. - I like this pedal, though I think you can get the same effect from other clean boost pedals. I was expecting an instant SRV tone but there are other variables you need to achieve that (e.g. strat-like guitar, tube amp with nice cleans, etc.). Though overall I like what this has contributed to my pedal board to add to my own unique sound. I use this with an EHX SoulFood before it to give it a treble push when the situation calls for it.
Review: Clean SRV boost - To all SRV students, this is must have. The Lenny boost with the drive on high is comparable to the ts-808on it's lower setting. The Lenny boost is something special. in my Opinion it's a great clean Stevie Ray sound. One for clean of course and one for the dirt. Pricey but Special.

I like this pedal, though I think you can get the same effect from other clean boost pedals. I was expecting an instant SRV tone but there are other variables you need to achieve that (e.g. strat-like guitar, tube amp with nice cleans, etc.). Though overall I like what this has contributed to my pedal board to add to my own unique sound. I use this with an EHX SoulFood before it to give it a treble push when the situation calls for it.
