Review: Great product - I dislike clipping my dog's nails, but these make the job so quick and easy. These clippers are sharp, helping them cut quickly without squeezing the nails. The safety guard is helpful, but I still triple-check before cutting. My dog doesn't like being groomed, but she tolerates the process. The clippers didn't create any additional discomfort or make any noises that drew her attention to what I was actually doing. I recommend these clippers and would purchase them again. Review: Sharp nail clippers - These are great, sharp clippers and they fit nicely in my hands. They're furthest open position is sometimes a bit big in my hand though. The handle coverings recently started slipping like many people complain about, which I honestly don't quite understand why the company doesn't try to fix that issue. I think putting a little super glue in there then sliding them back on will keep them in place though I haven't yet tried it. The opening for the clippers doesn't fully open like most clippers so you do have to stick your dog's nail into the whole. Depending on your dog that may be a pain in the butt, it is for me some of the time. So I switch back and forth between these sharp clippers and the sharp clippers by diamond g with the bamboo handles as they fully open and I'm able to get into some smaller angles with them. These are a good price point so I'll be able to replace them when they start to dull to avoid any issues. If the locking mechanism flops around some, keep the lock side pointed down towards the floor so it doesn't cause issues and get in the way. Or you can simply use a piece of scotch tape and tape it into the unlock position for that trim session. Make sure you take the tape off and lock them back when you're done to avoid an accident or additional wear on the sharp blades. ## Features - Durable plier-style nail clipper - Comfortable red plastic grips and a spring-loaded cutting mechanism for more positive cutting action - Built-in guard can be moved into position to prevent the overcutting of the nails and there is a lock to hold the trimmers closed for storage and maintenance - Nail Clippers can be used for just about all sizes of dog - except very large breeds - quality-made of stainless steel to withstand years of use - Measures 8-inch length by 2-4/5-inch width by 1/2-inch height - Nail Clippers can be used for just about all sizes of dog; except very large breeds - Nail Clippers can be used for just about all sizes of dog; except very large breeds; quality-made of stainless steel to withstand years of use ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0111SLMUQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,300 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #13 in Dog Claw Care | | Blade Edge | Straight | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Brand | Millers Forge | | Brand Name | Millers Forge | | Color | Red / Silver | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 8,936 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00076681007430, 00305487790971, 00626211278641, 00674788542399, 00700549022302, 00700580010108, 00700580024488, 00700580065382, 00709081896815, 00715255390799, 00786714243260, 00802627771000, 00885156357099, 06919289881757, 07922470323768 | | Included Components | One Pet Nail Clipper | | Item Dimensions | 8 x 2.8 x 0.5 inches | | Item Nype Name | Nail Clipper | | Item Weight | 2.24 ounces | | Manufacturer | Miller Forge | | Manufacturer Part Number | 516279 | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Name | Nail Trimmer Pet - Red Handle - Scissors | | Model Number | MF743 | | Style Name | Plier | | Target Audience | Dog | | UPC | 715255390799 674788542399 700580065382 015568958021 786714243260 884946425130 700580024488 885156357099 719279583335 683440109191 719412073105 709081896815 802627771000 700580010108 305487790971 076681007430 700549022302 626211278641 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Unspecified | ## Product Details - **Blade Edge:** Straight - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Millers Forge - **Color:** Red / Silver - **Material:** Stainless Steel ## Images ![Millers Forge. Cut through like butter.... But I could not use them on her back paws because she is small and they don't open all the way, so I could not get them around the curve if her nail. I would recommend for a large breed but I'm returning mine. ## Frequently Bought Together - Millers Forge Steel Pet Nail Clipper 743C with Safety Stop Bar Small Medium Dog - Miracle Care Kwik Stop Styptic Powder For Dogs, Cats, and Birds, Fast-Acting Blood Stop Powder For Pets, Quick Stop Bleeding Powder For Dog Nail Clipping and Minor Cuts, 0.5 oz. - Millers Forge Dog Nail Clip, Large.
