The Metal Color range offers a wide range of shades in order to imitate the metallic finish of aircraft of all types and eras. Of exceptional brightness and extraordinary power of reflection, it allows the modeler to carry out the full range of painting techniques without the need to resort to enamels and lacquers - Metal Color dries very quickly, but it is advisable to wait 12 hours after application before applying any paint masks, as it respects the smallest details present on the model and forming a homogeneous and self-leveling layer of extraordinary resistance a few hours after application. Metal Color can be tinted directly in the airbrush cup using colors from the Model Air or Game Air ranges. It can also be applied with a brush - Metal colors can be mixed with each other, use directly with an airbrush, or diluted with or diluted with Airbrush Thinner (B002X6DTHK) or Flow Improver (B00QD780G0). Compressor adjustment for these colors is recommended at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 a 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using our Airbrush Cleaner (B002X6BNYQ) - Note: The brand Vallejo is currently in the process of rebranding, therefore, for a period of time, it is possible that you may receive the product with either the new packaging or the old packaging ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B012A94U6S | | Age Range Description | 168 months to 1200 months | | Brand Name | Vallejo | | Color | Gold | | Container Type | Tube | | Coverage | Full | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (4,218) | | Dry Time In Hours | 12 | | Finish Type | Metallic | | Full Cure Time | 12 hours | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08429551777254 | | Included Components | Hobby, paint | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor, Outdoor | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Type Name | GOLD METAL COLOR 32ML | | Item Volume | 1.08 fluid ounces | | Item Weight | 18.14 g | | Manufacturer | Vallejo | | Model Name | Metal Color | | Model Number | VJ77725 | | Paint Type | Watercolor | | Part Number | VJ77725 | | Size | 1.08 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) | | Special Features | Non Toxic | | Specific Uses For Product | Airbrushing models | | Surface Recommendation | Metal,Plastic | | Unit Count | 1.08 Fluid Ounces | | Warranty Description | No Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Vallejo - **Color:** Gold - **Finish Type:** Metallic - **Item Volume:** 1.08 fluid ounces - **Paint Type:** Watercolor - **Size:** 1.08 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - **Special Feature:** Non Toxic - **Specific Uses For Product:** Airbrushing models - **Surface Recommendation:** Metal,Plastic - **Unit Count:** 1.08 Fluid Ounces ## Images ![Vallejo - Metal Color | Gold 32 ml (1.08 fl.oz.) | Faithfully Reproduce Different Metallic Finishes - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/514nnsXU77L.jpg) ![Vallejo - Metal Color | Gold 32 ml (1.08 fl.oz.) | Faithfully Reproduce Different Metallic Finishes - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31m4DkBVcqL.jpg) ![Vallejo - Metal Color | Gold 32 ml (1.08 fl.oz.) | Faithfully Reproduce Different Metallic Finishes - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/21abfFAO3QL.jpg) ![Vallejo - Metal Color | Gold 32 ml (1.08 fl.oz.) | Faithfully Reproduce Different Metallic Finishes - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31Z+jNeqjHL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Vallejo - Metal Color | Gold 32 ml (1.08 fl.oz.) | Faithfully Reproduce Different Metallic Finishes - Vallejo Liquid Model Color Mask Acrylic Paint, 17ml - Vallejo Game Color Dead White Paint, 17ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/27119748-vallejo-metal-color-gold-32-ml-1-08-fl-oz](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/27119748-vallejo-metal-color-gold-32-ml-1-08-fl-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
