Add colorants, granite powders or found objects, pour into mold and allow to cure. Cast you own decorative knobs, and pulls, jewelry pieces, pendants, charms and buttons, coasters, paperweights, figurines and more. Quantity: Net 8 ounces (US), 236 ml DANGER: Contains epoxy resin and polyamine hardener that may be harmful if misused. Please read cautions on individual containers carefully. KEEP OUT of reach of children. Use a proper measuring device and measure equal portions of resin and hardener. Always double mix as per the instructions. Note: Inadequate measuring and mixing is the most common reason for imperfect results.

Review: This product was purchased for me to make jewelry with my daughter using molds. I mainly used silicone molds and while they do sell resin release spray, I didn't use it and did not have any issue with resin sticking to the silicone molds. It is very important that you mix the two chemicals exactly as directed, otherwise you will have issues with the product setting up and it will end up being softer than it should. I used childs medicine cups to measure them and I used wooden popsicle sticks to mix them together, get a box of those, you will go through a lot of them! Toothpicks are handy for positioning/moving things you might put in the molds like beads,coins, tiny shells, sequins, basically anything that would fit. The product dries clear and shows what you have put it very well. It takes about 24 hours to fully set depending on how deep your mold is. This product works very well, price is competitive vs. going to a hobby store.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this stay clear when dry**
A: It does -- sort of.  Mine is still "clear" if you do not consider the yellow cast and hundreds of bubbles.

**Q: Does the package containe 2 4-ounce bottles**
A: Yes -- but you need to combine each 4 oz bottle (equally) together in order for the process to work.  So, essentially, when complete - you will have 8 oz of casting material.

**Q: can you use any kind of dye to add color or just resin dye**
A: I second acrylic paint! That's what I use and it works great and is affordable. I just add one drop at a time until I reach my desired color (use as little as possible because resin hates moisture). Mix mix mix, and voila! I use a straw to carefully blow out any bubbles and it looks great :)

**Q: Is this a complete kit with the catalyst? I had to ask this for similar products since no package contents are shown or described.**
A: Yes, well kind of.  It's a two part resin, combine equal parts of Part A (Resin) with Part B (Hardener.)  A catalyst serves the same purpose of a hardener, but is used in a much smaller proportion to the resin.  So technically it does not have a catalyst nor does it need one, the hardener replaces it.

This is the first resin I ever bought, and attempted jewelry with. Pics: first is the box. The second is showing the resin preserving a picture in a necklace jewelry piece (popsicle sticks to cover faces).Note that I sealed the picture in mod podge first. And the third is showing some jewelry I made with it. Being a newbie to it all, I found that the resin was a little overwhelming to make at first. Scared to mess it up by it being too hot, too cold, or not a perfect 1:1 ratio, but now that I’ve been using it for a week it’s a lot easier. First time use went well. Followed the directions and my resin jewelry came out good! I love how they turned out. I definitely need to work on my skills but I think this resin works well and it’s just me needing to learn tricks. When I got the resin to the right temperature (about 73-75 f), it worked well and had a clear and hard cure at about 18 hours. My first attempt it took 3 days for a hard cure. And yes they were the same jewelry pieces. So I would say I have improved and it’s just a matter of skill and following directions. Would definitely buy again. If you’re wanting to get your foot into the door with resin, I highly suggest this!
