For travel, you'd probably want a bench that wold fold up compactly without actually needing to be disassembled. Though this is an an excellent sturdy shower bench, it' wouldn't really be great for traveling or fitting in a suitcase. **Q: where is it made/** A: I'm not sure where it's made, but the Brosive name is owned by a Chinese LLC. I couldn't find an address. **Q: The handles are not wide enough to fit into the holes provided for them?** A: I had to pull the "legs" of the handles apart to get them into the base tube. Nothing superhuman, just insert one leg barely into the tube, then pull the bottom of the other leg until it fits into the tube. And, the handles will only fit on the short sides of the seat...I hope that helps. **Q: What is over all width and length?** A: I just measured mine for you. Fully assembled, the height is adjustable, so that is variable. At its widest, the bench is about 22"...from handle to handle. Depth is 17" at the most, from leg foot to foot.
