It is holding up well. I have now switched to a larger bag that would hold some other accessories as well. The backs of good quality. **Q: Do the sheet clips keep their tension?** A: I have not seen any reduction in tension but I have only had the stand for about 6 months. I do generally have about a half inch stack of music on the stand and the clips still hold fine. I have had as much as an inch and a half book on the stand which is secure with the clips. **Q: Are the hinged joints metal or plastic?** A: Everything is metal and there aren't any hinged joints. If you're referring to the 2 parts of the music holder, they go together by having knobs on the top part - fit through holes in the bottom part, then tighten by turning a (Ok... plastic) knob. **Q: Some people say the stand is plastic, others metal. Which is it?** A: The stand and music holder are metal. The knobs that adjust height, etc. are plastic.
