The step helps lighten and prevent brown spots and freckles. 3rd is your Hylauronic Acid. This stuff is a miracle. Completely hydrates and regenerates your skin. A little goes a very long ways. 4th is your Collagen Emulsior. Put on a nice even layer all over as a final moisturizer. I wait a little between each step. I also put the excess product on the top of my hands after each step to keep them youthful. It really does work. I live in Arizona and it has taken years off of my face and hands! It absorbs into the skin and leaves a nice dewy glow. It comes in a pretty large sized glass bottle with a pump for extraction. I have extremely sensitive skin and so have to be selective about what I use and when I try products it's always a toss up whether it will work for me or not. This lotion is PERFECT. Next I will buy the matching cream to use at night over this for added moisture as per the Korean skincare routine. (Just FYI, I have found that the whole skincare routine is just too much for my skin. It made my skin worse, not better. So I use micellar water for cleaning, Missha first essence (which is pure gold), then this Mizon lotion. I find that this is adequate and I think that's as many layers as my skin can handle, but it has already drastically improved my skin.) But, I love this lotion, don't hesitate to purchase! You know how oil and water don't mix? But when you add eggs or dish soap it does? Emulsion can work with both oils and water based products so your skin can obsorb them both without a caked on or greasy film or feel. it works gread if you use multiple products to kerp your skin extra healthy and young. Use it after your toner, ampoule, and serum and before any heavy oils or creams if you use them. As there aren't many emulsions in the US as most of them seem to be from Korea and Japan, I would say you're pretty safe with the ingredients (and lack of sulfites etc). Korea is the worldwide leader in skin care and they're usually very careful about what they allow in their products because koreans are very informed about skincare ingredients and cheap or dangerous ingredients wouldnt sell over there very well. If you're asking about this one specifically, it doesn't have any bad ingredients that I could see (and I refuse to buy parbens and sulfites etc). If you're looking for a good quality facial lotion with healthy ingredients I'd recommend it. Mizon is one of my absolute favorite brands. I can feel the difference, especially with their ampoules. What a difference this emulsion has made over anything I've used before. I'm 50+ with dry, sensitive skin (my profile photo was taken last month). I use this as my main moisturizer over the snail recovery gel [MIZON] Snail Recovery Gel Cream 45ml (1.52 fl.oz.) Pack of 2 . I love the glass bottle this comes in, it just makes me feel like it's a luxury skincare product (without the high price!). It's a thin cream, but very moisturizing. It soaks in fast, isn't sticky or greasy, and has no odor. My skin looks tighter and the crepey-ness around my lower eye area is gone.
