I knew from the reviews it was probably too small for this size camcorder, and it was. But I very easily cut out the mesh bag and now it fits perfectly! Exactly what I wanted. It fits in my handbag and also has a little handle to carry separately. Feels very secure. Review: Super smooth and better than expected for the price point - Using this with a Panasonic HC-V380 camcorder and it fits great with space for an extra battery and memory card. Sometimes you have to guess on sizing and i lucked out on this one. Case itself is tiny (which is what I wanted) and very sturdy. ## Features - Eco-friendly Material: Made of High-density EVA and 1680D Material, premium Hard EVA to provide durability and a long-lasting performance. - Perfect Fit: Specially designed for your Canon VIXIA HF R800 Camcorder. - Convenient Design: Comfortable hand grip for easy portability,Comes with specially mesh pocket for other accessories,Smooth but strong double zipper are easy for opening and closing, giving you a better using experience. - Great Protection: Stylish and Durable, prevents any damages or scratches caused by accidentally bumping, dropping, secures the device in good condition on travelling or outdoors. - For sale is case only(device and accessories are not included). ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0823K34J6 | | Best Sellers Rank | #164,396 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #191 in Camcorder Cases | | Brand Name | Aproca | | Closure Type | Zipper | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 319 Reviews | | Handle Type | Web Handle | | Item Weight | 0.16 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Aproca | | Manufacturer Part Number | S694 | | Material Type | Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) | | Model Number | R800 | | Number of Compartments | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Pocket Description | Mesh Pocket | | Shell Type | Hard | | Size | Fits Canon VIXIA HF R800 | | Strap Type | Shoulder | | Style Name | Compact | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Aproca Hard Travel Storage Carrying Case for Canon VIXIA HF R800 Camcorder - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71TykSXkx3L.jpg) ![Aproca Hard Travel Storage Carrying Case for Canon VIXIA HF R800 Camcorder - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71eA8CRu9gL.jpg) ![Aproca Hard Travel Storage Carrying Case for Canon VIXIA HF R800 Camcorder - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jxMP0ndwL.jpg) ![Aproca Hard Travel Storage Carrying Case for Canon VIXIA HF R800 Camcorder - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/712gSIORkxL.jpg) ![Aproca Hard Travel Storage Carrying Case for Canon VIXIA HF R800 Camcorder - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718bipxYNOL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ perfect with minor adjustment *by K***Y on 15 January 2024* I already have the camera bag for my Sony Handycam FDR-AX53 but I also wanted a snug case, just for the camera, that will fit in my purse. I knew from the reviews it was probably too small for this size camcorder, and it was. But I very easily cut out the mesh bag and now it fits perfectly! Exactly what I wanted. It fits in my handbag and also has a little handle to carry separately. Feels very secure. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super smooth and better than expected for the price point *by T***Y on 21 May 2024* Using this with a Panasonic HC-V380 camcorder and it fits great with space for an extra battery and memory card. Sometimes you have to guess on sizing and i lucked out on this one. Case itself is tiny (which is what I wanted) and very sturdy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Might be a tad bit small *by P***Y on 19 July 2021* The case is fine and does fit the camera. It might have been nice to be just a tad bit larger. You do need to adjust all the cables "just so" to get the case to close without a struggle. When I put the camera away, its annoying, but when traveling I like that it does not waste much space. This is a great travel case, not a case for repetitive use as in sightseeing. For that I would pick a slightly larger case. ## Frequently Bought Together - Aproca Hard Travel Storage Carrying Case, for Sony - HDRCX405 / kimire/SEREE/Canon VIXIA HF R800 R700 Digital Camera Recorder - Powerextra 2 Pack Replacement Sony NP-BX1 Li-ion Battery and Charger Compatible with Sony NP-BX1/M8,ZV-1,ZV-1 II, and Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100, DSC-RX100 II, DSC-RX100M II, DSC-RX100 III, DSC-RX100 V --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/269192835-aproca-hard-travel-storage-carrying-case-for-canon-vixia-hf](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/269192835-aproca-hard-travel-storage-carrying-case-for-canon-vixia-hf) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
