These scissors are fine for any size dog. It really depends on what you plan to trim. I use these on doodles every day for trimming faces, ears, tails, and paws but to do the whole body you use an electric clipper. **Q: I have a 60 lb golden doodle what size scissors should I order** A: Curved and Straight 8 and a half blades or longer are good **Q: Y el color de las tijera es durable** A: No perderá el color fácilmente, ¡gracias por tu pregunta! **Q: Chunking shears not working properly they fold instead of cutting the hair, anyway to fix this?** A: I don’t believe there is.. this happened to me as well. I think they slightly bent in the mail. They are worthless wont cut hair at all. I adjusted the tension and they still don’t work. The other shears in that pack worked so I just took the loss. ## Frequently Bought Together - Professional Dog Grooming Scissors Set, 7 Inch/8 Inch Pet Grooming Scissors Chunkers Shears for Dog, Curved Dog Grooming Scissors, Thinning Shears for Dog with Grooming Comb - Andis – 64071, Ultra Edge Dog Clipper Blade – Constructed of Carbonized Steel, Resists Heat & Rust with Long-Lasting Sharp Edges - Professional Animal Stainless Steel Comb Set for A5-style Detachable Blade Clippers, Snap-On Size #10/15/30 for Pets, Dogs, Cats, and Horses (Not Compatible with 5-in-1 Blades) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/268952617-moontay-professional-dog-grooming-scissors-set-7-inch-8-inch](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/268952617-moontay-professional-dog-grooming-scissors-set-7-inch-8-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
