Review: Great mat for the price - Exactly what I've been looking for! I needed a non-slip desk pad that was sleek & minimalist with enough space to accommodate my large drawing tablet & mouse when needed. I also wasn't terribly fond of the rounded corners and/or chunky stitching along the edges of many alternatives. This desk pad ticked all of my boxes, and I'm quite impressed with the quality and feel so far. My only complaint is that when I unrolled it, it didn't quite lay flat (which is to be expected). The manufacturer did include instructions on how to flatten it (by gently rolling it in the opposite direction), but by the time I found them, I had already placed some books on the corners. The next day I took the books off, and it was almost flat, but not quite. I decided to try what the manufacturer recommended, and suddenly there were a bunch of wrinkles on the cork side of the mat. Luckily it's not too noticeable from the top side, but I think I would've been better off leaving the books on the corners. The cork material is thin enough that I'm concerned it may break down/crack where it's wrinkled. I guess only time will tell.

**Q: Hi, is this orange version non slip desk pad ? thanks**
A: Well, I have the gray version and if they are all made the same way, which I think they would be, it is a non-slip mat. I use it all the time and have absolutely no trouble with it - it’s well made.

**Q: What is the thickness of this pad? My antique wood desk has a slightly uneven/cracked top, is this firm enough to provide a level writing surface?**
A: The pad is 0.05 inch thick. We designed it to provide a great surface to write and use a mouse on.  It is on the firm side so your pen or pencil will not push into and indent the paper.

The color shade did not change and we would best describe it as a creamy light brown. 

It is important to note that the way a computer monitor displays colors can affect the way a product appears. This can cause a discrepancy between the way a product appears on a computer monitor and the actual product.

**Q: Is this desk pad non-slip?**
A: I have mine on a glass desk and it does slip.  However, I just placed a few pieces of double sided tape under it and that fixed the problem.  If you are considering this product, don’t let that deter you.  Quality product!

I ordered the navy blue one. The desk mat feels premium; it has stitching around the edges and an elegant Nordik logo in one of the corners (normally logos look tacky, but not here). Overall, it feels premium and the color is lovely, just lovely! I will definitely recommend the brand to my colleagues. I would take a picture but I dont think I would do it justice truly.
