Review: Improved lab results! - I started using these drops for my 12-year-old Coton de Tulear after routine bloodwork showed elevated kidney values. At the same time, under my veterinarian’s guidance, I transitioned her to the JustFoodForDogs Renal Support Low Protein Diet. Review: My kidney cat's daily staple -- Sick cat turned a happy cat - My 11 yo cat was diagnosed of stage 3 kidney failure in April during the Covid lock down. He was so thin and his appetite was so down. I was desperate to do something. The vet recommended to sprinkle Phos-bind over his favorite foods since he won't eat his kidney diet. But with this method I could use just a pinch of powder since he ate so little there was no way to meet his daily goal of 2/3 scoop of the powder. When I saw this kidney supplement I got an idea. I also needed some kind of pasty supplement to make my plan possible. So I bought Nutri-Vet Multi-Vite Multivitamin Paw Gel and this item. I mix phos-bind powder and this kidney support gold first to make a loose paste, then blend this paste to Nutri-vet gel ( it is a paste even though it says gel) . I give my cat this home-made compound every day. He doesn't like it so I had to put it on my finger and force it in to his mouth. He is given his favorite treats immediately after that to wash it down. Poor thing. It is Not fun for me to do that, but I had to. Ever since I started this my cat is looking much better. Before this routine started In May he was so weak, no interest in food and could not even jump up to my bed and hiding in my closet. I wanted him to enjoy life more , so I decided to let him out to my yard for the first time in his 11 years of life. I ordered a XS cat harness and took him out for a walk within my yard. Eventually he started to wait at the door for his harness to be put on. Gradually he regained some of his strength. One day I saw him chasing my neighbor's cat that visits my yard daily, and if I brought a dish of food he ate more while outside. His activity level is not nearly as good as healthy cat, but now he comes to my bed no problem and actually he jumps up on the dresser or window hammock all the time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but I have been so amazed by this product that I want to do that

I do not usually write reviews, but I have been so amazed by this product that I want to do that. I bought this on October 4, 2016, the same day I learned my dog Cody had kidney failure. This was rough news as he has been diabetic for over a year and is prone to pancreatitis. The doctor was not at all helpful and I was distraught. A friend recommended I buy the Kidney Support Gold for Dogs and so I did and had it sent overnight. Cody has been on this every day since October 5th and within two days I noticed a difference. His appetite was much improved and he had considerably more energy. I have tried other treatments since October 5th such as he had cold laser therapy for his kidneys, weekly subcutaneous fluids administered, some other supplements recommended by a holistic vet and most recently I have been getting dietary advice from the good people at Tufts University's Vet Nutritionists [...] I think all of these treatments are helping Cody out, but I really think one of the key bits is this product. He has been on it the longest and it helped him immediately. I did not want to leave a review seeing improvement in his blood work first. I knew he was feeling better, but this shows for a fact he really is getting better. Kidney failure is diagnosed with these tests and you can see how Cody has improved. The first was from blood drawn on October 3rd and the second was from blood drawn on November 16th. Creatinine (normal range is 0.5 -1.6). Cody in October was 2.8 and in November, 1.7 (almost normal). Blood Urea Nitrogen (normal range 6 - 31) Cody in October was 84 and in November, 55. Obviously still high, however 84 was his low number for the past 6 months before so 55 looks awesome to us. Phosphorous (normal range 2.5 - 6.0) Cody in October was 6.3 and in November 3.5 (low normal). Additionally his pancreatic values were normal in this recent blood work. The weeks before October 3rd he woke my husband and I up several times a night for water and to go urinate. He now sleeps through the night comfortably. He is very energetic and enthusiastic and loves his walks like he did 2-3 years ago. I am very pleased with this product and will continue to use it.
