Review: The only plugs I will use. - These work brilliantly on smaller punctures that sealant refuses to fix. I run higher pressures (over 80psi) and it seams sealants don’t work as advertised when you get over 70psi, even the ones I’ve tried that are rated for high pressures. Stan’s plugs will get you home but for me they were not a permanent fix as these have proven to be. I can plug a hole mid-ride and pump my tire up to 90psi with no problem. I haven’t tried the bacon strips and my guess is they would also work but the pill takes up minimal saddle bag space and the way they are inserted makes it incredibly simple to use.

- Use only for repairing a puncture in BICYCLE TUBELESS tires. (3) Soft Nose style plugs are the most commonly used solution for a puncture and (2) Mega Nose style plugs are suitable for larger diameter punctures.
- When needed, just remove whatever caused the puncture, firmly push the tool’s novel insertion tube straight (without twisting) into the hole and extract the tool depositing the repair plug in the tire, done! Used to repair injuries to the tread, sidewall and along the rim.
- ONLY store these sticky plugs in the PVC tray packaging or in the Dynaplug tool SS insertion tube! Rolling in wax paper also can work. If you remove the plugs from the tray, they will stick together.
- If a single plug is not enough to seal a hole, just fold the ‘tail’ flat on the tire; hold it with your finger and stick another one in there! Add as many plugs as needed, folding each tail against the tire as you insert plugs. A plug tail can be snipped off later if it bothers you; trim to about 4mm long depending on the location!

These work brilliantly on smaller punctures that sealant refuses to fix. I’ve used these for years to fix punctures when Stan’s sealant doesn’t. Sooooo much faster and neater than trying to put a tube in a slimy tire. Also easier than fiddling with “bacon strips.” Just pop it in, add air and go. They work great with my tubeless setup on both my road bike and MTB. No need to replace … it’s a permanent fix.
