I've had the CyberPower 1000 for 2 years and this is my second battery. I may be incorrect, but the battery last from 1.5 to 2 years; IT MAY BE THE WAY I AM USING IT. I experience maybe 10 Events per year and I would not have known that unless I checked the battery display for the number of events,...I never realized the power was interrupted. I give this unit a 👍 BIG THUMBS UP. I use the UPS to power & protect my OLED TV, my computer and a mobile phone charger. My OLED and computer combined are a$6,000; that is not unusual. Even if you have a MODEST computer and TV, you're still looking at a minimum of $1,000 of equipment. If you get a NASTY,...nasty power spike, you could easily loose both pieces of equipment. For the average person, you can get a CyberPower UPS for under $200.
