I wash in cold and dry on medium in the dryer, and it shrank so much that I'm considering reordering TWO sizes up. I like my robes roomy, and even though my robe was big and roomy, it shrank so much that I can barely bend over without it riding up in the back. It's a great robe, but size up. **Q: Why is the belt sewn on the side and one side of the belt is short and the other side is long??? Why isn't the belt sewn in mid back w/even sides?** A: It is actually good that the belt is sewn into the seam on one side. It will cause less damage with wear and is anchored into a seam.
