Filled it up and had several pounds left in the bag. I'm thinking, at least for Dog Chow, that it can only hold about 40 pounds. I would order the next size up if you need it to hold 50 pounds. **Q: Dimensions?** A: dimensions **Q: Does it come with a scoop.** A: Yes, mine included a scoop but it's not shaped like a scoop. It's circular, 4" diameter x 1.5" deep with a tab handle that's 1.5 long x .75" wide. It's the same color as the vault and somewhat flexable. I really like this product because it's solid and air tight so it keeps the contents fresh. I get the smell of fresh dog kibble every time I open it. **Q: Bought the 5 gal bucket and the lid ring has split apart. Will Gamma2 send me a new ring and lid to replace the defected part?** A: Sure would ask, but my whole lid once on is nah impossible to get opened back up. I just sit the lid on the canister. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good product *by on Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates 18 March 2022* the only thing I would change is that the dog`s food doesn`t fit inside with the bag , you have to pour off the food inside . but still good quality ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps Pet Food Fresh & Secure – Worth It for Peace of Mind *by on Reviewed in the United States 17 April 2026* I picked this up to store our dog’s food, and it’s been a really solid upgrade from using the original bag.The seal is tight and secure, which gives me confidence that the food is staying fresh and protected—not just from air, but also from moisture and pests. That was my main concern, and this container definitely delivers.I also like how sturdy and well-made it feels. The plastic is thick, and the lid screws on easily but locks in place well, so it doesn’t feel flimsy or like it’s going to loosen over time. The size is practical for storing a decent amount of food without taking up too much space, and it keeps everything looking much more organized compared to a bulky open bag.If I had to mention one thing, it’s that you’ll want to double-check sizing depending on how much food you typically buy—but overall, this has been a great solution for keeping pet food fresh, contained, and hassle-free. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amplio y buen material *by on Reviewed in Mexico 16 May 2026* Muy buen contenedor, sella muy bien, mantiene fresca la comida, se ve más ordenado que una bolsa de alimento ahí recargada, llegó en perfectas condiciones en una caja y con sus etiquetas 🩷 gracias!! ## Frequently Bought Together - Gamma2 Vittles Vault Pet Food Storage Containers - Sealed Dog and Cat Food Storage Container, Fits up to 50lbs, Made in the USA - [14"L x 20"H] - Aosnare 2 PACK Dog Food Scoop,1 Cup Capacity Pet Food Scoop With Measuring Lines For Dog, Puppy and Cat (Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/264752599-gamma2-vittles-vault-dog-food-storage-container-up-to-50](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/264752599-gamma2-vittles-vault-dog-food-storage-container-up-to-50) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
