I use Japanese incense without the bamboo core and had a helluva time finding a holder that would catch all the ashes and hold a full stick straight without having to snap it in half first. Pro tip: pack the ashes down first to make it dense enough to hold the incense. This is so much better than cleaning grimy ceramic holders after burning a stick. The bag of ash is smaller than I expected but I’m happy with the quality. A bag is about as big as the palm of my hand.

A: This will not "kill" a skinwalker but it should protect your perimeters. Hang something rod iron above your doors. This is what I found out and have done! Be safe my friend!

This is a bit of a specialty item as it is used in incense pots to hold stick incense upright, in our house before a Buddhist shrine. It consists of pure white volcanic ash finer than flour. Rub it between your fingers and you can feel no grit whatsoever. It is fluffy and extremely light weight. Judging from the illustration, I thought I would receive quite a large bag but it actually is very small. Our incense bowl is 4" diameter, 4" high and I needed five bags to fill it. And fill it you must because the ash is so fine that the sticks will fall over if there is only an inch or so in the bottom. Left to my own devices, I probably would have filled the bowl with clean white sand but my significant other is Taiwanese and convinced me that this ash is the correct material to use. So....if you need this rare item you can buy it with confidence. Just remember to buy more than you think you'll need.
