A: Or more.  It's one of the less expensive magnet cleaners that will work on thick glass

**Q: Is it okay to keep the inside the aquarium when not in use?**
A: Yes, many people do.  However, you should inspect it before each use to make sure there are not calcium deposits or small critters or trapped debris as those can cause scratches.

**Q: Does the Flipper Max float when the inner magnet separates from the outer magnet? Does it do a good job cleaning algae on 1" glass?**
A: Hey Dennis, the flipper will not float when separated. It works great on 1" glass.

**Q: Would the max be an overkill on a 125**
A: It really depends on the thickness of the glass or plexiglass.   Some custom built 125 gallon tanks have very thick glass but some are very thin.   If your glass is 3/8 inch  or thicker -  this glass cleaner is perfect for you.
