There is an inch overlap of fabric of the sides at the top of the skirt, adjacent to the platform piece, but that will not interfere with the use you describe. This is a well-made bed skirt. **Q: what is the drop on this bedskirt- 14" or 18"?** A: hi, the bedskirt has a 14.5" drop **Q: Does it attach or slip under the bed?** A: This bedskirt is attached to a rectangular piece of fabric that slips under the mattress and holds it in place. This is much better than the kind that has elastic and fits around the mattress. **Q: what is the drop length of this bedskirt?** A: hi the bedskirt has a drop of 15" ## Frequently Bought Together - Laura Ashley Home - Cotton Ruffled Bedskirt, Lightweight Home Decor with Classic Style (Blue, Queen) - Laura Ashley Comforter, Soft Reversible Bedding Set, Includes Matching Bonus Euro Shams & Throw Pillows, Queen, Nora Blue/Yellow/Green/White - Laura Ashley Home - Queen Sheets, Soft Sateen Cotton Bedding Set - Sleek, Smooth, & Breathable Home Decor, Ramona Blue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/261793899-laura-ashley-queen-size-bed-skirt-100-cotton-bedding-14](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/261793899-laura-ashley-queen-size-bed-skirt-100-cotton-bedding-14) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
