Sehr schöner Stechbeitel in einer für Europäer eher ungewöhnlichen Breite; in Japan aber durchaus üblich. Der Stechbeitel muss vor der ersten Verwendung noch eingerichtet werden. Einpassen des Griffs und des Rings sowie Schärfen der Klinge. Wenn man sich hierfür etwas Zeit nimmt bekommt man ein sehr schönes Werkzeug, dass für vielfältige Holzbearbeitungen (Stemmen, Hobeln) genutzt werden kann.Gute Tutorials zum einrichten gibt es bei You Tube oder auch für die Freunde von Büchern in dem Buch die Werkzeuge des japanischen Schreiners von Toshio Odate.
