This works great up to those ranges for that purpose. My 50 year old eyes aren't perfect but the picture is clear and sharp. Seems well made. Tripod is cheap but is steel. If your looking for a $400 scope this isn't that, but is nicer than a $150 one I had. Review: Great quality for a cheaper end - I am a Naturalist and I can say that this product is one of the best gadgets I own. I it yesterday as a Birthday gift and I can say that this product is amazing. The image quality is great, the scope's range is brilliant, the clarity is mind-boggling. I am a birder as well as an over all naturalist and do a lot of Citizen Science work and this is just what the doctor ordered. The only minor things I might knitpick on is the eye piece can be a bit tricky to line up with a phone but it all comes in practice to get it going for you. I had to use superglue to hold the rubber parts of the phone holder on but other than that a fantastic product. Light weight but that is a good thing in my line of work. Not as bulky as some. If you are on a budget and don't want to spend a fortune this is the way to go. This is a good product and blew my mind when I took it out of the box and began to use it. Can fit any tripod with. I used it with my tripod that I have for my photography and just love how it handles. The image adjustment may be a snag for some but focus is not much of an issue. This is a great tool for all types and all ages. This is such a wonderful product. All around one of the best naturalist products I have in my gear arsenal. ## Features - Upgraded 21mm large eyepiece lens;More comfortable to viewing;16-14mm long eyerelief is also suitable for people who wear glasses - 25-75x zoom;Easily lock the details at a distance;70mm large objective lens provides powerful light gathering ability in low light environment - FMC and BAK4 optical design;Effectively reduce light loss;Provide clear and bright image details - The fold down eyecup type;whether you wear glasses or not;the fold down eye mask type allows you to comfortably enjoy the pleasure of viewing. - Waterproof and fogproof；waterproof and fogproof design can cope with rainy and snowy days, so that you are not affected by the weather while watching birds - Fold down eyecup; whether you wear glasses or not; the design of the foldable eyecup can give you a comfortable viewing experience; even if you watch for a long time; you will not feel tired - Standard threaded interface; SV28 spotting scopes adopt standard threaded interface design; can be connected to different tripods; meet your indoor and outdoor bird watching and target shooting needs ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08HJWN75C | | Additional Features | waterproof and fogproof high power compact | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #227,256 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #63 in Spotting Scopes | | Brand | SVBONY | | Built-In Media | 1x SVBONY spotting scope 1x universal cell phone adapter 1x carrying case 1x lens cover 1x eyepiece cover 1x lens cleaning cloth 1x tripod 1x user manual | | Coating | FMC | | Compatible Devices | SC002 Spotting Scope Camera, Smartphone | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 369 Reviews | | Eye Piece Lens Description | 25-75x Zoom eyepiece | | Field Of View | 64 feet | | Focal Length Description | 25-75mm | | Focus Type | Manual Focus | | Item Highlight | Long Range Shooting Spotting Scope, Tripod, Phone Adapter, IP65 Waterproof, Angled Spotter Scope, for Bird Watching, Hunting | | Item Type Name | spotting scope | | Item Weight | 1600 g | | Manufacturer | SVBONY | | Manufacturer Part Number | F9308P-W9177A-W2546A | | Model Name | FF9308P-W2546A | | Model Number | F9308P-W9177A-W2546A | | Mount | Tripod Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Objective Lens Diameter | 7 centimeters | | Optical Tube Length | 12.8 millimeters | | Optical-Tube Length | 12.8 millimeters | | Telescope Mount Description | Tripod Mount | | Warranty Description | SVBONY Warranty Policy: We provide lifetime warranty for spotting scopes, monoculars, binoculars, microscope and 30 days no reason to return.
