**Q: do these provide enough tension/resistance for someone 5'2? (if the strap is too long it's useless for me) thx**
A: You're question is confusing.  These ankle straps don't provide the resistance.  And you're height isn't a factor.  The strap goes under your foot.  The Velcro part goes around your ankle.  There is no adjustment in the strap that goes under the foot.  You just slide the ankle/Velcro strap up your leg till the strap under the foot is tight, no slack in it.   The resistance comes from the cable you attach to the metal loops.  You can put as much or as little weight on the cables you use.  And yes, a 5'2' person can use these with no problems. I'm only 2" taller than you.  I love them! They give me a great workout.

These are really high quality and feel very sturdy during workouts. The strap that wraps around your feet/ankles adds a lot of extra support, which makes exercises feel a lot more comfortable and secure. They’re also padded well and don’t dig into my skin like some cheaper ankle straps I’ve tried before. Definitely recommend if you use cable machines often.
