They also come with a metal arm control rod. For those who have no idea what that means (dont worry, alot of people ask!) the rod is a thin metal "wand" that simply clips to either hand for movement. This is how Muppet and Sesame Street type puppets are operated. Simply insert your hand into the slot in the puppet's back to operate the mouth. By opening and closing your hand the puppet's mouth will move. Bodies are poly-fill stuffed and soft making them light-weight. They weigh in at about 1 pound. These puppets are very durable and are made to last a lifetime. The puppet comes completely dressed as shown (clothing may vary slightly due to fabric availability). Clothes are removable and this puppet wears child size 18 months. Our new 25" puppets are highly recommended for both beginners and experienced puppeteers. Their mouths are so easy to move and wont hurt your hand making them perfect for puppet ministry, school performances, talent shows, drama, theater, therapy, good clean fun at home, and more! Give them a try and we promise you wont be disappointed! Recommended for ages 5 and up. Children under this age would enjoy having an adult or older child operate it and put on the show for them. ## Features - High quality full body ventriloquist style puppet made by Silly Puppets. - Easy to move mouth. Is it 18 months as well?** A: We would go a little bigger than 18mth for the shoes for the 25" Full Body Ventriloquist puppets as their feet are wider and the instep higher than kids. ~Silly Puppets **Q: Where is the back opening to move the hand?** A: The back opening is between the shoulder blades. That opening goes to the head to move the mouth. The arm rod is used to move the arms. **Q: Is this too young for a 11 year old girl?** A: My 8 year old granddaughter got her for christmas 2019 and absolutely loves her. She wears 18 or 24 month clothes (can't remember which) so decent sized. I wear a large ladies glove and can get my hand in her. I was worried about some of the reviews but I was not disappointed in the purchase. She's a great starter puppet. **Q: Is the hand opening big enough for an adult hand?** A: The Ventriloquist Style Puppets can definitely be used by kids and adults alike! If the puppeteer is an adult with much larger hands than average, you can also look at our 30" Professional Performance Puppets. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=30%22+silly+puppets&crid=IWEH6BYOMWOL&sprefix=30+silly+puppets%2Caps%2C105&ref=nb_sb_noss ~ Silly Puppets ## Frequently Bought Together - Katie, Peach Girl, Full Body, Ventriloquist Style Puppet, (25 Inches) - 25" Kenny, Peach Boy, Full Body, Ventriloquist Style Puppet - 25" Tommy, Peach Boy, Full Body, Ventriloquist Style Puppet --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/259498841-25-katie-peach-girl-full-body-ventriloquist-style](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/259498841-25-katie-peach-girl-full-body-ventriloquist-style) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
