Review: Does what it says - Easy to use and remove, does the trick for port blocking. Make sure on reorder that you get the proper color inserts to go with the included tool, though. Note that these are in no way "high security" locks, but will prevent casual (and up to semi-determined) access to USB ports. Tool is pretty cool.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: are the keys all unique? Meaning, if i buy 4 sets of pink one, will one key unlock all 3 other pink groups?**
A: The keys are universal on these, the seller actually called me to try to sell me ones with semi-unique keys determined by color code, but these, regardless of color, are all the same. On a side note, when I installed these without the key I was disappointed to find that they slide in as easily as a normal USB drive because there's no extra hooks or anything to keep them installed, just the normal USB port tension which wouldn't be enough to stop anyone with the tiniest amount of determination from getting them out.

**Q: Is there a version if these that can attach to usb drives and protect them. Meaning male blocker?**
A: This series of locks is quite limited in its breadth of offering and does not provide any ability to either lock a USB drive or filter out the data traveling to and from a USB drive. You can find these on the Amazon platform though under the Smart Keeper portfolio. It is a more contemporary series of physical locking products and offers a much wider range. For lockable USB drives, for example, you can search for Amazon ASIN numbers B08NXW9YKL (Blue), B08NXXL1HF (Brown), B08NXX65B8 (purple), and B08NXPMGZH (Yellow). If you are looking to block data from flowing to and from a drive, there are also parts to do that. Examples would be ASIN numbers B08NXZTLVL (blue), B08NXWHYFD (yellow), B08NXW6LFC (purple), and B08NXW4BB9 (brown). Another application you might want to consider is the ability to lock down USB cables. Solutions also exist on Amazon's platform for locking down cables. These also are part of the newer Smart Keeper line. I hope that this helps.

**Q: Can I use this for my iMac?**
A: Yes you can. These fit any standard USB A type port. You may also want to check out the Smart Keeper brand of physical security blocks.

**Q: Can the locks be purchased in larger quantities, like 100 or 200 count?**
A: Item 40452 can be purchased in large quantities. Please give us a call at 1-888-TO-LINDY to discuss pricing.

Thanks,

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It is a "blocker", not a "locker".
*by M***P on April 16, 2013*

A specific situation occurred at our office where we needed to provide a computer to an outside auditor as a "look only" device. Basically, they would come in our office, sit down at this computer and open Excel to look at a few spreadsheets we had preloaded. Management wanted a computer that could not leave, nor could the auditor easily take the spreadsheets with them. To protect our serial port, we also purchased the Mobile Edge MEALK1 Securicable Key Lock from Amazon. Let me say up front that these are not LOCKS, but BLOCKERS, as they are so named. Once they are inserted, they CAN be removed with two small screwdrivers. It takes a little patience, but it can be done. The "key" is really only to facilitate you removing the bits from the USB ports. You can install them with your fingers, simply by pushing them into the USB ports. I recommend you use your fingernail to really make sure they are in as far as they can go. This might make it a little harder for someone to remove without the key, but not impossible. The blocker installer key and four included bits seem to be made from quality components, and we are happy with our purchase.
