The magnets are strong enough to clip onto crossbody bag straps so I don’t have to worry about taking my GoPro in and out of a bag/carrying case. More importantly the magnets are strong and the hinge stays in place. I’m not dumb enough to stick this on my car without attaching a backup cable (like some other reviewers), but this is perfect in the gym. Getting video of yourself in the gym can be difficult to do alone, but there are so many metal surfaces. These snap mounts are 100% perfect for this. You can even stick the whole GoPro onto the machine weights and get interesting shots in motion. Zero complaints about the product itself. Just wish the price was cheaper and the screw wasn’t such an obnoxious green color.
