Frequently Asked Questions: Q: How thick are the MP12, MP13 and MP15 privacy screens? A: the MP12, MP13 and MP15 are very thin compared to other MacBook privacy screens, They are. 87mm thick. We measured other brands at 1. 06mm, 1. 2mm, and 1. 55mm. Q: Will My MacBook be able to completely close with the privacy screen attached, just like it does without a privacy screen? A: because our privacy screen attaches to the frame of a MacBook, there could be a slight gap when closed with the privacy screen attached. Q: What are the advantages of a magnetic privacy Screen? A: a magnetic privacy Screen can be taken on and off a laptop easily and quickly. Our MacBook privacy screens come with a storage sleeve for the screen when not in use. Q: Will My MacBook still "sleep" When closed with the privacy screen attached? A: Yes, as long as you have that functionality enabled. Review: Best privacy screen in the market for macbook pro 16 inch - The best protection for my MacBook Pro 16 inch. Best magnetic privacy screen as of now in the market. Review: Poorly designed and very weeak - It does not correctly fit the MacBook Air M2 and cuts off the menu bar. The magnets are too weak, and the screen barely stays on. Waste of money. ## Features - Macbook privacy screen filter integrates seamlessly with all 2016 and later 13.3" MacBook Pro and 2018-2022 13.3” MacBook Air; attaches to magnets that are already built in to the MacBook's frame; watch the video to the left to learn more. - Limits viewing angle to +/- 30 degrees, hiding personal or confidential information from anyone trying to look from the side; TAA compliant - Reversible with matte and glossy viewing options; reduces harmful Blue light by up to 22%; Includes cleaning cloth and screen holder to keep your privacy screen clean and protected from scratches while not in use - Note: Because this privacy screen attaches with magnets versus sticking to the MacBook screen, The lid of the laptop may have a slight gap when closed with the privacy screen attached; but the MacBook will still go to sleep and/or turn of the screen If that functionality is enabled - Not compatible with 2022 MacBook Air 13.6" M2 model due to the larger screen size ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B077TVSTMT | | Are Batteries Included | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #22,065 in Computers ( See Top 100 in Computers ) #30 in Laptop Screen Filters | | Brand | Kensington | | Color | blue | | Computer Memory Type | DIMM | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (2,565) | | Date First Available | 20 December 2017 | | Item Weight | 63.5 g | | Item model number | K64490WW | | Lithium Battery Packaging | Batteries contained in equipment | | Lithium Battery Weight | 0.2 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Kensington | | Processor Count | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 0.64 x 22.86 x 34.04 cm; 63.5 g | | Series | K64490WW | | Standing screen display size | 13 Inches | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Kensington - **Compatible devices:** Laptop - **Item hardness:** 2H - **Material:** Polyethylene Terephthalate, Thermoplastic Polyurethane - **Product dimensions:** 33.8L x 33.8W centimeters ## Images ![Kensington MP13 MacBook Magnetic Privacy Screen for 13.3" MacBook Pro and MacBook Air (except 13.6" M2 Air model) (K64490WW) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YvImv3qBL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this work with the new macbook air (retina, 2018)?** A: I’m using the Kensington MacBook Pro 13 model on my 2018 MacBook Air.
