Review: Already Nonstick with just 1 Seasoning :) - I got this pan today—it’s my first carbon steel pan and will definitely not be my last. After unpacking the new pan and washing it, I seasoned it on the stovetop, let it cool, and made a sunny side up egg. Effortlessly nonstick. Crispy edges with a golden, runny yolk—the texture is different from making eggs on teflon and even stainless steel. I then made a two-egg french omelette (since my pan is 8 5/8 in) and it was almost completely nonstick. Not bad for a single seasoning. I just wiped away the food with a paper towel and it’s good to go for whatever else I want to cook. Definitely surprised by how low maintenance it is. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase and look forward to using my new pan a lot more!

I got this pan today—it’s my first carbon steel pan and will definitely not be my last. After unpacking the new pan and washing it, I seasoned it on the stovetop, let it cool, and made a sunny side up egg. Effortlessly nonstick. Crispy edges with a golden, runny yolk—the texture is different from making eggs on teflon and even stainless steel.
