Many port-a-potties are cleaned with a hose and suction method. A cardboard toilet paper roll can clog the vacuum, not to mention a large plastic bag, even if it is biodegradable. They usually clean the potties once a week, at least. The bag will not degrade that quickly. It's just not a nice thing to do to the potty cleaners. **Q: Question for the seller: Where should these be disposed of? Putting them in regular trash is a bad idea.** A: I asks myself that same question I couldn't find any place to dispose It but putting them into trach can by making sure I rebag it good so I went to buy trach bag heavy duty trash bags and make sure it was secured that nothing fall out or smell so yes I dispose it into a garbage dump fully secured with heavy-duty trash bags and you will definitely need to double baguette **Q: Biodegradable is not the same thing as compostable. Where is the 3rd party tested biodegradable certificate #? It's not on the bags.** A: Paper wrap around the bags states: “meets stringent requirements of municipal composting programs and the Australia (AS-4736) American (ASTM D 6400) and European (EN13432) standards.” **Q: Why wont these ship to California?** A: Update: I checked ebay and you can get them shipped to CA if you buy them there. ## Frequently Bought Together - Green Elephant Portable Toilet Bags - Camping Toilet Bags, Camping Potty Bags for Portable Toilet, Portable Potty Bags, Toilet Waste Bags for 5 Gallon Bucket, Camp Toilet Bag, 15 count, 8 gal (1pack) - 72 HRS Premium Portable Camping Toilet Seat with Lid for Camping, Hiking, Emergencies - Perfect for Emergency Preparedness, Backcountry, Car, Boat, Road Trips (No Bucket) - oceanengine Portable Toilet Absorbent Gel, Portable Toilet Powder Poo Urine Powder for Camping Outdoor Hiking --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/257596889-green-elephant-portable-waste-bags-camping-potty-liners-biodegradable-sanitary](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/257596889-green-elephant-portable-waste-bags-camping-potty-liners-biodegradable-sanitary) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
