Can I use this amp to separately drive and control speakers and headphones?** A: The best solution for your suggestion is to use a separate headphone amp (mentioned in another answer), however, you can daisy chain the two components together so that your input source goes through the amp shown in the photo, then take a pair of patch cables and connect one end to the record output of the first amp and the other end of the patch cable to the input of the headphone amp. Your volume control will be totally independent and can have your headphones as loud as needed while the volume on the main amp used for the speakers is at your wife's listening preference. Remember, the connectors marked "output" will handle other amplifiers because that is a "pre-amp" output source.
