During the early 1990's, the previous GT-R recorded countless victories, not only on the Japanese racing scene, but also in several foreign countries including the Macao Grand Prix and the Spa Francorchamps endurance race in Belgium. Like its predecessor, the '95 Skyline GT-R was designed to continue its motorsports legend from the ground up. The powerplant for the GT-R is a 2. 6 liter, in-line 6 cylinder DOHC, twin turbocharged unit. Although the maximum horsepower output is maintained at the same 280hp as before, torque was increased by using a higher turbo boost. The race prepared, "V-Spec" model is equipped with Nissan's state of the art ATTESA E-TS PRO variable torque split four wheel drive system. It efficiently distributes the available power to the front and rear wheels, plus controls torque distribution between the left and right rear wheels, achieving perfect four-wheel traction control. The front and rear multi-link suspension is further sport oriented for competition and class performance. The Brembo brake system is used on all four wheels, for positive stopping power. The huge rear spoiler has an adjustable stabilizer, to produce the desired downforce. The massive front and rear blistered fenders, plus a large front air-intake, give the GT-R its very aggressive look. ## Features - Sports Car - Brand: Tamiya - This product comes in a proper packaging - Design to perfection ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000WFT7BG | | Additional Features | Plastic Model Kit, 1/24 Scale Model of Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-Spec | | Age Range Description | 12 Years & Above | | Art Craft Kit Type | Plastic Model Kit | | Best Sellers Rank | #126,205 in Toys ( See Top 100 in Toys ) #68 in Car Model Building Kits | | Brand Name | Tamiya | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (442) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04950344995219 | | Included Components | [Plastic car parts, instruction manual, paint and glue (possibly not included)] | | Item Dimensions | 76.2 x 48.8 x 15.2 centimeters | | Item Type Name | MODEL KIT | | Item Weight | 281.23 Grams | | Manufacturer | Tamiya | | Manufacturer Part Number | 24145 | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec Car | | Model Number | 24145 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Paint Type | Acrylic | | Product Style | Modern | | Scale | 1:24 | | Seasons | All Seasons | | Set Name | V-Spec | | Size | 8 inches long | | Subject Character | Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-Spec | | Theme | civilian | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** 12 Years & Above - **Brand:** Tamiya - **Colour:** Black - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 76.2 x 48.8 x 15.2 centimeters - **Theme:** civilian ## Images ![Tamiya 145 Nissan R33 Skyline GT-R V Spec 1/24 Sports Car - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51GTzjsYNzL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Tamiya Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-Spec- 1/24 Scale Model Kit 24145 - Tamiya Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 - Nismo Custom 1/24 Scale Model Kit 24341 - Tamiya 24123 1/24 Scale Sports Car Series Toyota Supra Model Kit (300024123) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/255821024-tamiya-145-nissan-r33-skyline-gt-r-v-spec-1](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/255821024-tamiya-145-nissan-r33-skyline-gt-r-v-spec-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
