Review: Map turtle really like it and not a bad price - Map turtle really like it and not a bad price. Have used before and will buy again. Does not cloud water Review: The best food . - Best food for my Red ear slider . He just loves it,I tried many foods but this food got the best response. The food has a good blend of ingredients which are very essential for turtles. Now talking about the tank , it's just awesome . The tank is much cleaner and even there's no odor. To sum up its just a great food and a value for money. But I suggest to feed your turtle occasional treats and veggies frequently. ## Features - Comes 45 g - Hygienic packaging - Refer to the packaging for information on use - Formulated with care ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00GJW37U8 | | Additional Features | Includes the our proprietary probioc, Hikari-Germ™, a beneficial microorganism that supports intestinal flora while helping decompose waste | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Allergen Information | Almonds Free | | Animal Food Diet Type | Raw | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | Additive-Free | | Animal Food Nutrient Content Claim | High Protein | | Best Sellers Rank | #11,098 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #118 in Small Animal Food | | Brand | Hikari | | Brand Name | Hikari | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 287 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Giant | | Flavor | Unflavored | | Flavour | Unflavored | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00042055436229 | | Item Form | Pellet | | Item Shape | Medium Pellet | | Item Weight | 1.59 Ounces | | Item form | Pellet | | Manufacturer | HIKARI | | Manufacturer Part Number | 43622.0 | | Model Number | 43622.0 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Pet Type | Reptile | | Product Benefits | Promotes fast growth and vibrant color, supports digestive health, suitable for turtles with sensitive stomachs | | Recommended Uses For Product | Feeding aquatic turtles | | Special Ingredients | Probiotics, Variety of Ingredients | | Special ingredients | Probiotics, Variety of Ingredients | | Specific Uses For Product | turtle Food | | Specific uses for product | turtle Food | | Target Species | Reptile | | UPC | 042055436229 | | Unit Count | 45.0 Grams | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** Hikari - **Flavour:** Unflavored - **Item form:** Pellet - **Specific uses for product:** turtle Food ## Images ![Hikari Saki 43622 Turtle Sticks Fish Food, 45g - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71bnBNVhSaL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: could I use for hatchling?** A: The sticks are too large for hatchlings. But it should work when they soften up, or if you break them into smaller pieces (but avoid letting anything too powdery fall into the water. Food powder will sludge up the tank real fast.) However, it's not a growth formula, so if you can find something with a smaller pellet, that's a little higher in fat and protein, that's what I'd recommend. (I know that's not easy though!) Either way, it'll be sufficient and safe, but not my *ideal* choice. It's been a while since I've had a baby turt. :) **Q: What is the ingredients in hikari-330337 ?** A: The following list of ingredients were copied directly from Hikari's website: Fish meal, dried bakery product, wheat flour, soybean meal, brewers dried yeast, wheat germ meal, cassava starch, flaked corn, hydrolyzed vegetable sucrose polyesters, dried seaweed meal, rice bran, DL-methionine, garlic, dried green tea leaves, dried Bacillus subtilis fermentation product, rosemary oil, thyme oil, oregano oil, cinnamon bark oil, astaxanthin, choline chloride, vitamin E supplement, L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (stabilized vitamin C), inositol, d-calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, vitamin A supplement, thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, niacin, folic acid, vitamin D3 supplement, biotin, vitamin B12 supplement, P-aminobenzoic acid, disodium phosphate, calcium carbonate, calcium lactate, salt, ferrous sulfate, magnesium sulfate, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, calcium iodate.* 01-50M * Because of our commitment to providing the highest quality nutrition available, some differences in ingredients may occur due to regular formula updates. **Q: Is it 20oz? The picture shows the 7oz product.** A: Yeah it's 20oz, it used to let you select which size the 7 or the 20 so I think they just forgot to change the pic. **Q: Is this the same food as the hikari aquatic multi-colored turtle sticks? my turtle only eats that now, and i cannot find it any longer.** A: I am not familiar with the multi-colored sticks. The sticks in this food are not multi-colored, but my Ouachita Map Turtle loves it ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Map turtle really like it and not a bad price *by A***E on 19 September 2015* Map turtle really like it and not a bad price.
