A: Yes! It's a thin fabric however. It would achieve the effect you desire, but if wanting a jacket, ect. May want to line it?

A: Yes I would say so.  I used it in a costume for a child

**Q: Does this fabric stretch?**
A: No - it is woven.

**Q: Can the yards be cut individually**
A: I forget the length I bought but it was around 8 yards and it came as one large amount and I cut it to the lengths I needed.
