Yes, it hurts the first time you use it but do 30 seconds each day and your muscles will build strength and you will be able to do more and more time daily. I can spin it all day now and I've only had it for about a week. Be encouraged! I love this hula hoop. Great stuff!

### ⭐ Too painful to use - causes bruising.

I bought this purposely for the magnetic bumps, but sadly, the product was unusable as it gave me huge bruises and was extremely painful. It came with a paper saying to wear extra clothes or padded clothes! Ridiculous. It was impossible to disassemble for return. I ended up buying another brand that I really like.
