It not longer provides good grip and slides around under heavy pressure when fighting fish.Decided to look for an upgrade- initially looking at power knob handles kits, but those were quite pricey and there was nothing functionally wrong with the stock handle. I realize that GOMEXUS offered just the power knob itself, which obviously would have to be installed.Installation was simple, though some fit testing was needed to find the perfect balance between free spinning handle and knob play. For my reel, instructions said to add 1 washer, then bearing, then handle, then bearing, screw, and handle cover. I found that once tightened, the knob did not spin as freely as I wanted it, yet there was no play.I eventually found the perfect set up which allowed maximum free rotation with almost no play. I installed it with 1 washer, then bearing, then handle, 1 washer, another bearing, 1 washer, screw, and handle cover.Knob spins effortlessly almost friction less. Please see the video! This is probably one of the best "upgrades" I made to a spinning reel and it was cost effective and simple.
