The dimensions around the top of the pan are much greater than those at the bottom of the pan. One loses close to 30% of pan area once the tapered dimensions are taken into account. I did trim a corner off, to provide her an entrance way. The only thing I would say, as a negative, is that it’s expensive for a plastic tray, but apart from that, it’s easy to clean and it does what’s intended.
