Typical modern diets are too sterile and not diverse enough to maintain optimal probiotic levels. Our food supply is now more processed, sterilized, and loaded with more antibiotics than ever before. What are probiotics? In the normal human gut there are over 100 trillion bacteria. As you get older, get stressed, or take antibiotics those normal good-guy bacteria die off. These probiotics do everything from helping to break down food, providing essential nutrients like vitamin K, and keeping the competing bad bacteria at bay. Probiotics supplement the gastrointestinal tract with those known, good, beneficial organisms. Probiotic supplements are one of the most popular health supplements because they actually work to help maintain digestive health. Why Nexabiotic? Nexabiotic has been formulated to cover all bases in terms of probiotics. Nexabiotic provides your digestive tract 23 different kinds of probiotics at a substantial dose (34.5 billion CFUs per 2 capsules) which helps restore digestive balance. Not only that but Nexabiotic capsules are also specially engineered so that its high-quality probiotics survive the harsh stomach acid and make it into the gut where they need to be. ## Features - manufacturer: DrFormulas - Item Trademark: DRFORMULAS - Item Category: Nutritional Supplement ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01IMGUEFE | | ASIN | B01IMGUEFE | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Allergen Information | Gluten Free | | Best Sellers Rank | #138,296 in Health ( See Top 100 in Health ) #294 in Probiotic Nutritional Supplements | | Brand Name | DrFormulas | | Color | red | | Container Type | Packet | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (1,410) | | Customer reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (1,410) | | Department | Probiotics Acidophilus Infantis Boulardii | | Dosage Form | Capsule | | Flavor | Unflavored | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Item Form | Capsule | | Item Weight | 0.03 Kilograms | | Item model number | Nexabiotic30 | | Manufacturer | DrFormulas | | Manufacturer | DrFormulas | | Manufacturer Part Number | Nexabiotic30 | | Material Features | Food Safe | | Model Number | Nexabiotic30 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Dimensions | 10.21 x 4.7 x 4.6 cm; 32 g | | Primary Supplement Type | Non-specific | | Product Benefits | Digestive Health Support | | Recommended Uses For Product | Probiotic | | Special Ingredients | Acidophilus | | UPC | 704407952718 757183933006 | | Unit Count | 30 Count | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** DrFormulas - **Flavour:** Unflavored - **Item form:** Capsule - **Item weight:** 0.03 Kilograms - **Package information:** Packet - **Primary supplement type:** Non-specific - **Product benefits:** Digestive Health Support - **Special ingredients:** Acidophilus - **Unit count:** 30 Count ## Images ![Dr Men's, Women's Nexabiotic with Lactobacillus Acidophilus (30 Count) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81nZ70MzkBL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I am always curious about the refrigeration issue. I thought that the more "potent" antibiotics needed refrigeration bc they are live cultures.** A: Dear Valued Customer, This a great question that we get often. Our probiotics are indeed lyophilized (freeze dried) to preserve shelf life. They are also produced with overages (more probiotic than what is stated on the label) and are produced with hardy, heat-resistant probiotic strains. Our lyophilized probiotics become live again after they are exposed to moisture inside the gut. There is a small amount of moisture present in the air so for the best results close the lid tightly after opening and/or refrigerate after opening the bottle. Please let us know if you have any other qustions or concerns. Sincerely, -Charles C. DrFormulas Support **Q: A lot of nonsense could be spared if they would jiust list the complete ingredients. can't see if there are fillers or "other" ingredients** A: Greetings, our other ingredients used in Nexabiotic® include hypromellose (the plant material the capsules are made of), gellan gum (one of the components of the acid-resistant capsule), maltodextrin (glucose multimers which function as prebiotic), and medium chain triglyceride oil (a vegetarian oil that coats the capsules and prevents them from sticking).Sincerely,-Megan B.ProVita Online Support **Q: does this need to be refrigerated** A: Technically no, it does not need to be refrigerated, BUT if you refrigerate any probiotic it will last longer, and be more potent, when you take them. **Q: what are the caps made of, any fillers, are they living, & are they grown on milk?** A: Greetings, the capsules are made of a stomach acid resistant plant-based vegetarian material. The capsule works to protect the viable freeze-dried probiotics inside. Since the probiotics do not take up the entire space inside the capsule we utilize maltodextrin which are long chains of glucose. Glucose is the universal source of energy for all forms of life and serves as a food source for the probiotics as they establish themselves inside the GI tract. The probiotics are grown on medium that contains milk proteins. The product itself does not contain milk.I hope I answered all your questions!Sincerely,-Bryan T.Helpful Head of Formulation at BioProsper ## Frequently Bought Together - DrFormulas Nexabiotic 23 Multi Probiotic for Women and Men - Dr. formulated with Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Bifidobacterium Infantis, Saccharomyces Boulardii, 17.25 Billion CFUs - Nutramax Cosamin® ASU Joint Health Supplement with Glucosamine, Chondroitin & ASU for Men’s & Women's Joint Health, 150 Capsules - Citracal Slow Release 1200, 1200 mg Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D (1000 IU), Vitamin D3, Bone Health Support, Calcium Supplement for Ages 12+, 185 Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/253791108-dr-mens-womens-nexabiotic-with-lactobacillus-acidophilus-30-count](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/253791108-dr-mens-womens-nexabiotic-with-lactobacillus-acidophilus-30-count) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
