Yes you can mix it, BUT you need to put the new ram in slots 1&2 OR 3&4 if you want to keep it running at 2666mhz. Easy to confirm by just going to your System Information app, then under "Hardware" is "Memory" it will show you which slot each stick is in AND its clock speed. If you alternate like many people say, it still works, but is slowed to 2133mhz. I've tried it all 3 ways on my 2020 iMac and currently left the 16gb sticks in 3 & 4 with the original Mac 4Gb sticks in 1 & 2. **Q: Will it work on 2020 imac 27 inch retina 5k display with 3.6 ghz 10 core 10th generation intel i9 processor?** A: Hi, I have the same mac 10-core intel core i9 Did it work on you? Mine says 2667 Mhz DDR4 Is this one ok even its only 2666 Mhz? **Q: Will this memory work in the 2019 iMac w/Retina 5k?** A: Hello. This will work in the 2019 iMac model. **Q: es compatible con acer predator 17** A: Look it up on google to be sure. ## Frequently Bought Together - OWC 128GB (4 x 32GB) PC21300 DDR4 2666MHz 260pin SO-DIMMs Memory Ram Upgrade Compatible with 27" iMac w/Retina 5K (Early 2019 and up) and Compatible PCs (OWC2666DR4S128S) - 2020 Apple iMac with Retina 5K Display (27-inch, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD Storage) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/253367955-owc-128gb-4-x-32gb-2666mhz-ddr4-pc4-21300-dimm](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/253367955-owc-128gb-4-x-32gb-2666mhz-ddr4-pc4-21300-dimm) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
